It's very simple.  A method to clean your hair of chemicals and impurities does not need to be mythical.  We witnessed the original macujo forums back in the day.  We too have given chemical burns to our scalp with the Macujo method and have bought into the myth and legend that Mike has built up; but it is so much more simple. Is he even real?  Some stoner from the 90's passed a hair follicle test by burning his scalp to open his cuticles and now it's a story and a method that charges hundreds of dollars for a simple shampoo?!?!  NO THANK YOU.

At LIVITY, we firmly believe that clarifying hair should be a hassle-free process. It should be as simple as shampooing, right? However, in today's market, it seems most shampoos are infused with conditioners, complicating the cleansing process; or even worse, burning your scalp with vinegars, sodas, and crazy mythical methods. 

After spending so many years experimenting, reading reviews, testing products and researching the science of hair manipulation we finally put it all together....for you and everyone to afford simple products with simple steps without burning your scalp with vinegar, peroxide, acne treatment etc.

Firstly, we open up the hair cuticles in order to access the internal shaft.  Our product packages come with full instructions for usage.  Please remember that all hair is different.  Use our Clarifying shampoo that thoroughly cleans the hair and preps it for treatment.  You won't have full treatment capabilities until you hair is clean and cuticles open.  It may take multiple washes to prep the hair until it sinks in water.  That's right, submerge a stand of hair into 8 ounces of water and see if it floats or sinks.  This means the cuticles are open and absorbing water.  Water actually helps the cuticles open.  This is the effect of the Propylene Glycol.  Once your hair is clean and the cuticles are open, the Propylene Glycol in the Treatment actually helps the hair to absorb more water which opens the cuticle further and dries out the hair even more.  The other chemicals remove the impurities.  This system can be repeated as much as you would like. 

Once your hair is cleansed use our protein enriched conditioner, what some people might call a relaxer, to fill the hair shaft with the proper nutrients and proteins. Our specially formulated Deep Conditioner fills the open cuticles with CLEAN proteins and dilutes the contents of your hair shaft for testing.  We can't claim to remove all impurities, its up to you and your proclivity of LIVITY to remove a substantial amount and then dilute the contents of whatever is left to below cutoff levels with our specially formulated Deep Conditioner.  If you are not using our product (sorry, a lot of people do) for hair follicle drug testing our instruction come with a "Basic Cleanse" section that is excellent for health hair.
